The Mississippi law was apparently based on ’90s sitcoms because “three’s a crowd.” As long as there are at least two people within earshot, anything you say is defined as public speech. #14 New Hampshire – Possession of Seaweed is a Crime At Night
A 1973 court ruling makes seaweed equivalent to fish. And, as such, it can only be gathered during daytime hours. Anyone collecting or carrying the stuff at night is effectively marauding.
