23. I Remember When All This Was Trees
Discovered in the ruins outside the Packard Plant in Detroit, Michigan in 2010, the piece featured a young child with what seemed like a dejected face of contemplation on the city’s state of poverty. With Detroit suffering from a financial crisis, trees were replaced by illegal settlers and homeless people.
