Smith’s career in the limelight was cut shot due to Colin Kaepernick’s emergence. When Kaepernick came through Smith was forced to sign a deal with Chiefs. While Kaepernick became a golden boy for 49ers, Smith continued to amaze NFL followers with his bright mind and educational credentials.
