Everyone should have a sense of humor as long as someone doesn’t throw an alligator from the drive-thru window.
The employees at Wendy’s were certainly not amused. Remarkably the story didn’t get much attention when it actually happened; in October last year (I mean, what we have to do to get people’s attention? Throwing alligators isn’t enough?!).
Joshua James, the 23 year old culprit from South Florida was arrested yesterday. He went to the famous fast food establishment at Royal Palm Beach, placed his order and then tossed in a three and a half foot alligator. Thankfully no one was hurt, not even the alligator.
Linda James, his mother has stated, “He does stuff like this because he thinks it’s funny.”
Joshua probably doesn’t think he is that funny now. He is being charged with aggravated assault and unlawful possession of the alligator.
His mother isn’t happy with how his son’s case has got the media attention all of a sudden (maybe to her tossing alligators from drive-thru is like ringing someone’s doorbell and running away).
She further said, “It was just a silly prank that he played and now it has all turned into this. Stupid.”
It does make a very good grandchildren story but risking hurting someone should never be encouraged.
