It is vital to block off some time during your day to just give yourself some time to breathe and relax. It could be the half hour after you get home from work, or maybe it could mean just going to bed like 15 minutes early.

Whatever it is you choose to do, remember the point is to use that time to wind down. So maybe read a book or just lie on your bed for a few minutes and clear your mind. During this time do your best to stay away from screens. Your brain needs a break from social media. Even if we like it, there is no denying it makes you feel busy and overwhelmed. Disconnect for only a few minutes a day and I can promise you it will help improve your mental health.
